That's not entirely true- it doddered up out of my brain after I doodled up a pair of lips and a nose. I rather like her collar.

I am going home (YAY) for a week, so I may be slow to be around. Dragging tablet along, though, so I should be able to update!

I'm thinking Nathalie Grève.
Continued from (here). Really glad I made her facial features somewhat more distinct than my usual OH THERE'S A NOSE SOMEWHERE IN THIS BLOB.
&& ETA: Just went back and dug up the best pose I could come up with a year ago. There's a lot of room for improvement in this one, but I think the lines of action are clearer and it makes more sense overall. Going to have to work out a way to ref that bent-up leg, though- hating it!

Hipslung pack is full of charged battery-type things to replace the ones she's got on that glove and boots.
I might try to shove her into a contest over at DA- only modifications her character would need would be that she'd be able to recharge/ fuel the packs herself. Noice.

More commission jazz;
It would be super duper cool if I could actually cover art class costs- it looks like maybe I might get close! Getting excited and scared for the first class on tuesday- it's 30 minutes of warmup followed by a long pose, which I am awful at. But hey! Doing this to try to improve.

Workkitty work
Some of the stuff I've been doing for my summer work in my downtime between experiments involves creating line drawings from a bunch of different photos for possible use in future papers. Some of the stuff I did last summer is in a paper that's finally being submitted for publication- we'll see how it goes!

Progress shots
Initial sketch for a commission and the second sketch with colors. Currently working on lines.
Speaking of commissions, I am probably going to make a post pimping mine in the next few days- just a warning! I've managed to cover the model fee and materials with commission funds, but the class cost itself is still hanging there.
